TigerSwan Range Complex - Ranges

Safety:

Designed from the start with safety in mind, TRC ranges comply with Department of Defense safety directives and regulations (AR 385-63, Range Safety) and state environmental requirements.

Safety measures include 15 foot high berms as well as a surface danger zone that is completely contained within the facility.

TigerSwan has safely conducted more than 60,000 hours of live-fire high-risk training.

Weapons and Ammunition Storage:

TSTCC's Armored Storage Magazine complies with Department of Defense security requirements for weapons and ammunition storage (DoD 5100.76-M).

Live-Fire Shoot Houses

TRC Live-Fire Shoot-Houses are Built with the latest state-of-the art Shock-Absorbing Concrete (“SACON®”) technology. SACON’s® non-ricocheting, non-fragmenting, bullet trapping capabilities maximize the safety of students while maintaining a realistic training environment.

Shoot House 1, 875 square foot single story, fully ballistic live fire shoot-house rated for all pistol, submachine gun and rifle rounds up to 7.62mm ball. All interior and exterior walls are fully ballistic SACON®. Shoot-house has four connecting rooms, two exterior entrances and a central catwalk for instruction. Mechanical and ballistic breaching capable.

Cost: $1,500 per day (No TigerSwan Instruction, Self-administered training by Unit).

Shoot House 2, 1,075 square foot single story, fully ballistic live fire shoot-house rated for all pistol, submachine gun and rifle rounds up to 7.62mm ball. All interior and exterior walls fully ballistic SACON®. Shoot-house has a central hallway with four rooms off of the hallway, two exterior entrances and a central catwalk for instruction. Mechanical and ballistic breaching capable.

Cost: $1,500 per day (No TigerSwan Instruction, Self-administered training by Unit).

Ranges

TRC ranges offer organizations flexibility to conduct individual and small unit static and maneuver live-fire training. Each range has a small break area with overhead cover.

Range 1 Multi-Purpose

Positions: 25 Size: 100 meters x 40 meters

Multi-purpose pistol and carbine range with covered break area and picnic tables. Units can provide their own paper targets or targets can be purchased from TigerSwan. Additional pistol and rifle steel targets are available for a nominal fee.

Range includes:

  • 25 firing point paper target line
  • 10 portable paper target stands
  • 3 portable static steel 12” x 18” carbine targets with stands
  • 3 step down barricades

Cost: $80 per man per day (minimum $800) (No TigerSwan Instruction, Self-administered training by Unit).

Range 2 Multi-Purpose

Positions: 25 Size: 100 meters x 40 meters

Multi-purpose pistol and carbine range with covered break area and picnic tables. Units can provide their own paper targets or targets can be purchased from TigerSwan. Additional pistol and rifle steel targets are available for a nominal fee.

Range includes:
  • 25 firing point paper target line
  • 2 sets of six-plate steel racks (rated for pistol calibers only)
  • 3 portable static steel 12” x 18” carbine targets with stands
  • 10 portable paper target stands
  • 3 step down barricades

Cost: $80 per man per day (minimum $800) (No TigerSwan Instruction, Self-administered training by Unit.

Classrooms

Two 32 man classrooms with projection equipment and whiteboard. Classrooms provide comfortable learning environment and are conveniently located next to ranges which reduces travel time and maximizes live-fire training opportunity.

Cost: $100 per day per classroom.
