James Reese - Chief Executive Officer
TigerSwan CEO and Co-founder, James Reese has 28 years of demonstrated success leading, managing, and organizing complex and multi-functional organizations that included assets of 1 billion dollars in revenue and 3,000 personnel. His leadership roles have spanned international and multi-cultured organizations and achieved success in areas of stability, instability and high threat.
He lead TigerSwan from a two person, small business, to an international multi-asset, medium sized Global Stability Company with 250 personnel worldwide.
Well versed in leadership, training management, organizational management, crisis action planning, systems integration and a recognized leader in Global Stability and Counter-Terror Operations.
His previous expertise and capability in the Global Stability industry include both the private and governmental sector.
Program Director for the Department of State, Diplomatic Security, High Threat Personal Security Services contract. He was sought after for his ability to lead and manage organizations through major financial and culture change, In this position, he re-organized the $800 Million USD programs infrastructure to include ground and aviation task orders in multiple locations world-wide, while working in a counter-insurgency environment, ensuring zero public diplomacy issues and maintaining full government contractual compliance.
Director of Security Operations for a multi-billion dollar, International, Fortune 500 Company. Responsible for management and oversight of critical infrastructure, maritime, aviation and personal security operations, as well as training and synchronizing the international corporate security element.
21 years of a 25-year career in Army Special Operations and a decorated combat leader and a disabled veteran. His last 10 years he served as an Operator Officer within the "Delta Force." Served 20 years in key military command and staff leadership roles within the "Delta Force," Ranger Regiment and 1st Cavalry Division. He culminated his career as the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff for a 1,600 person Combined, Joint, Interagency Task Force (CJIATF) conducting combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
After 9/11 he was selected by the Secretary of Defense to serve as the military advisor for Special Operations to the Director of the CIA on planning and preparation for the invasion of Afghanistan and operation "Enduring Freedom."
During his military career he advised Senior US leaders to include, Ambassadors, Deputy Secretary of Defense, Flag Officers (Generals/Admirals), other inter-agency directors, and leaders of countries and organizations involved with instability.
Brian Searcy - President/COO
TigerSwan's President, COO, and co-founder, Mr. Brian Searcy, has grown TSI from a two person, home office small business, to a 460 person multi-cultural corporation with offices throughout the world in less than four years.
Mr. Searcy served 23 years in Army Special Operations and spent the last 16 years with Delta Force. His leadership experience included serving as a military advisor in Central and South America and as the Command Sergeant Major for a 1,700 person Joint Special Operations Task Force in Iraq. A decorated combat leader his awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star
As a Delta Force instructor, Mr. Searcy authored and taught classes in assault planning, VIP protection, rifle and pistol marksmanship, explosive and mechanical breaching, close quarters battle and hand to hand combat. He also served as the program manager and primary instructor for Delta's shooting program. As a civilian consultant to the Pentagon's Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Defeat Task Force, Mr. Searcy worked in Iraq and the United States training soldiers and marines to predict, detect and mitigate the threat of IEDs.
In addition to receiving a Bachelor's degree in Government from Campbell University, Mr. Searcy earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. Additionally he has completed an executive leadership program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Business School's Finance for Senior Executives.
